You'd be forgiven if you've not heard of Walker's now infamous
brand, Funions. Launched during the hysteria of the New Millennium,
Funions were due to take the world by storm with their clever marketing
and... well their oniony taste. Their catchy slogan, "all the
fun of Onions", must go down as one of the all-time greats.
Their downfall was, I feel, that they had just one brand. And
it didn't take the world by storm. What they needed was a variety
of catchy-snacky-products: "Thrabbage! All the thrills of cabbage."
or "Joccoli! All the joy of broccoli!". Fantastic.
So gather your thoughts and enter this competition to market an
unlikely snack to the masses. The winner would have received the
last ever bag of Funions, but unfortunately Sam ate those a few
months ago, so instead you can have a bag of: "Lettuce. It's
just a bag of lettuce".
